Not mine, my uncle’s ‘85.5, with rust issues too far gone and with a bad clutch, it’s not financially worth repairing. This 944, the first Porsche I ever saw that isn’t a 911, and that started my fascination with Non-911 Porsches is being donated to the Center for the Blind in New York. Not sure what they’ll do with it. But it had a good and long 31 year and over 350,000 mile life.
This is also the same 944 that was featured in my second ever post on Oppo.
God Speed, and thank you for showing me there was more to Porsche than the 911. ;_;
P.S. I hope they’re keeping the Fuchs...

It hides its rust issues well!

Rust issues? Surprised, the whole car should be galvanized, when I briefly owned one mine didn’t have a speck of rust on it

Aside from the rust, the car was damn clean. Especially those wheels.

Where is the rust?

Not sure. My aunt mentioned there’s major rust underneath and internally. It’s dead. :(

Probably get tetanus.

I don’t know. Whatever it is, I’m sure it’ll make people happy.

Rust can be repaired—the sides honestly don’t look that bad. I’ve had holes patched in my floorboard before.
The Center for the Blind just got a good one. Shoot, I’d say the clutch can be repaired, too. (I even have a spare clutch on my spare engine somewhere, provided it’s not gone too bad sitting outside.)

All the rust underneath, I was told. That it’d cost too much to be worth repairing along with a new clutch. It’s been in our family 25 years. :(
